Back from the dead!

Almost a year passed since I've opened my website. I remember I was really excited about it. With time unfortunately myspace took over the control of my online activities. Which is really funny, because I use to hate it.

Anyway now, since I'm going to leave again, I remember that this website used to be one of my few connections with some of my friends back home.

Guess what, I'm back! :)

Not satisfied

Even though I spent more than 50 hours on the two versions of this website, I'm still not satisfied. I don't even like the look of it although it has tons of layers, which took me forever to arrange.

Now, weeks later, I've noticed that there are too many sections and some of them can be arranged differently. Which means that I'll be doing some short re-edit soon. Maybe I'll loose the gallery, credits and contact, as well as news. In few words it will be mostly blog until it generates some attention. At this stage I think there is no use of the other sections.

Mixer Issues

I noticed that there are many differences in mixing styles. For example I'm using the crossfader only for 'sharp' mixing and I thought only Hip hop and scratch DJs were using it... I guess I was wrong. Few days ago I remembered that 'julianep' was using only the crossfader and you can imagine how inconvenient it was, especially after the 4th drink. The situation with the mixer is pretty close to the toilet seat quarrel. However, it was funny when the music kinda stopped for a while. The funniest part was that the other track was playing in my headphones, so I didn't noticed at first.

Another Day

Well, I'm back in Bulgaria. Actually I arrived about 2 weeks ago, but ever since I've been working on the final version of the website, as well as few other assignments.

Yesterday, there was some CSS conflict with the stylesheet of the gallery page. However, it was working nice under Firefox, but under IE it was awful. So, I made some minor changes in the script and decided to update my IE. Few minutes later, something went wrong with the registry and on the next morning I couldn't load Windows.

April 27, 2007 And... I'm back in Boston, safe and sound. The flight was awful as usual. In case you have to fly within the US with US Airlines - don't. The inflight entertainment sucks, the flight attendants are too old and some of the planes are even older. In case you're going to spend 4 hours in a seat close to complete stranger, you need to pick up the right company.

Going Back

After few hours I have be at the airport. Well, I'm moving again. This time I'm going back to Boston for few days. I'll definatly miss California and the people with whom I spent most of my stay. I have some good news, but I prefer not to share them, until everything's settled. We also made tons of pictures, photo shoots, etc... but I still need to work on the gallery, before I publish most of them. Also many the events are ready, but I have to write comments to them, so I guess they'll wait until I get back to Bulgaria.

A New Beginning

It took me about 2 years to publish my homepage. I've started working on it around October, 2005. Since then I created about 4 versions and none of them saw the light. There was always something more important and a personal web page wasn't in my plans or at least it doesn't have top priority.

During the last 2 weeks I managed to build entirely new website. The main design was ready in less than a week, but integrating to the CMS and fixing minor errors took more time than I expected.
